Performance engines

All performance engines are built to run on unleaded fuel.

I am now supplying the 1776 cc engines in 3 stages of tune. 

All performance cams are fitted with double thrust cam bearings.

1776 cc : Stage 1.  1295 Pounds Sterling

If fitted with twin single choke Weber 34 ICTs, this engine gives a significant improvement in performance over the standard 1600, particularly in torque across the rev range.

1776 cc : Stage 2.   1870.00 pounds sterling    

 

This is by far the most popular of my 1776 cc engines.  If fitted with twin single choke Webers (34 ICTs) it will give 95 bhp* with SCAT C25 cam and approximately 30 mpg in an early T2. When Fitted with twin, twin choke Webers (40s), it will give slightly better performance at the top end of the rev range, but with some loss of performance at the bottom end and reduction in economy.  Higher output can be achieved with a wilder cam.

1776 cc : Stage 3.    2170 pounds sterling

If fitted with twin, twin choke Webers (40s), this engine will give excellent performance across the rev range with a peak of 110 bhp using a SCAT C35 cam*.

As 1776 cc Stage 3 but with 94mm barrels and pistons plus

Upgrade any of the above engines to a 69mm counter weighed crankshaft,

 chromoly I-beam rods and a forged flywheel for only 390 pounds sterling 

 

 

Upgrade to 2176 cc from the 1915cc for only 690 pounds sterling

Carburettor choice

All carburettors are pre-jetted to suit your engine.  Please note that fitting carburettors which are too large will almost certainly reduce performance; chucking more fuel into the engine than the engine can burn reduces performance, greatly increases the fuel consumption.
